          In 2007, Guang Ming Daily and local terrestrial television channel aired a TV show which is Top 20 Hainanese Chicken Rice in Malaysia. In this competition, there have around 100 Hainanese Chicken Rice stores in Malaysia compete for a space among the Top 20 Hainanese Chicken Rice in Malaysia. However, Kok Beng Chicken Rice was one of the winners among this competition.
